Am having a pretty enjoyable summer so far and surprisingly the weather has been decent!

Winter is coming....

I'm so very excited this time of year! Here are just a few things catching my attention right now... 

No-brainer

My head has been a little muddled lately. I'm not sleeping very well at night and then sleeping too much in the middle of the day, sleeping in for work, sleeping through all my alarms (of which, I have about 20) and when I take naps after work and start to miss things like my Pilates class, I start to get frustrated. Frustration turns into worry that I'm slipping back into a depression, tiredness makes it hard to concentrate on work and soon I'm over thinking things. I get all worked up and I can't sleep. Vicious circles are making the circles under my eyes darker! I need to start counter-acting the problem with some exercise and fresh air!

StyleSnaps: Bargains and beauty spots

Sometimes I go a bit mad and let the € signs get the better of me. The cheaper the better. I love having a brag about how I got a beautiful item at the most ridiculous price. Most of the time these items get worn once and then live in the back of the wardrobe...

OCD...

...or as I like to call it, "Oh Crap, Dirt!" or "Oh Crap, Disarray!", "Oh Crap, Disorganised!" "Oh Crap, *Insert untidy D-word adjective here*".

Holiday Snaps

This is just a mere snapshot of my travels through Eastern Europe-beginning in Budapest, Hungary; continuing onto Belgrade, Serbia; Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzogovina and finally a week in Croatia (Dubrovnik, Split, Zagreb and Zadar). The sites, the food, the people, the merchandise-there's just too much to explain, I'll let the pictures do the talking!

Bloomin' Tasty

The great thing about birthdays is, there are always presents of some sort. I have found as I have gotten older that they tend involve less wrapping paper and more envelopes-not all together a bad thing if you ask me! This year, I got to go to Bloom in the Park (above) and Taste of Dublin. Both lovely days with plenty of food and frolics and the chance to don a flower and some sunglasses.

22 today. That's somewhat of a grown up age. I'll gladly take the sunshine that is gracing us with it's presence and perhaps not care too much about the numbers!

Graduation celebrations were done in style, with a beaded gown that I came across in a local secondhand shop for €70. But of course it was going to have to be a little bit glam-I'm a grown-up lady now don't you know!

Today, I am officially a graduate of a BA in Irish and Journalism!

Purple

There's something about purple that fills me with an "inbetween" feeling of Halloween/Christmas (if I may be so bold as to mention the C-word so soon) It has all the festivness of sweet wrappers and coloured baubles as well as the ominous, smokey hocus pocus of pagan ritual.

I found this dress when I was routing out my winter supply of "going-out" gear. I think it may have belonged to a cousin, not too sure how I came into possession of it, but I felt like getting in the spooky spirit of things nonetheless. Added a chiffon underskirt and sequence belt for the party look.
