I've been going out a lot lately which is giving me a wonderful opportunity to combine everything I love: clothes, shoes, new bargains (red bag was €3!), friends and dancing! ;)

This little number is one of my proudeset creations-the combined cost of my entire outfit-I kid you not-cost €15. Oh yes, that's right!

Earrings were my mothers...

...top was €4 in Charity Shop...

...skirt was €3 in Penneys...

...heels were €5 in Shoe Rack :)

Night out cost a little more than that though ;)

Fancy Dress...

...so em...I'm a little late with this post....but seeing as Holloween is over and neither of my Halloween costumes were all that sppoky I guess I can share them with you anyway ;)

The Queen of Hearts:
hand made card collar and crown
and I was handing out little red hearts all night!

My other also involved white make up and red lips....

The Way I Wore It Lately...

This figure hugging outfit gave me the edge and confidence I needed on a great night out I had with my sister and cousin a few weeks ago. Cat themed with my leopard print heels and feline earrings and I think the red tights give it something sassy! (thanks to Ellen for photographs!)

Dropped into Buckingham Palace 2 weekends ago with my mother and sister. London had a beuatiful sunny day for us and this outfit kept me cool and pretty :)Also, I got the chance to give my new sunglasses a go!

In a rare occassion where our wet, cold Irish weather suprised us all by, well, not being wet and cold but sunny and warm, I got to give this summer look a final outing. I love pastels :)

New Shoes

Over the summer months I have acquired many a pair of shoes. How many pairs of shoes does a girl actually need? Probably a lot (LOT) less than I possess. But aren't they worth it? Like my mother says-no matter how much weight you put on, no matter if you have a bad hair day, bad skin day, a pair of shoes will always fit you and look good ;)

Party Time

Wow I'm tired this morning! But happy. :) What better way to shake the blues than a party, eh? Two friends of mine had their joint 21st last night and I went all out to look amazing. I really think half the fun is in planning and preparing the whole look for the night ;)

Like curling hair and painting nails....

....taming the frizz....
...bitta powder, bitta eyeliner...
...being so excited to wear brand new purchaces...
...also not forgetting little gifts and my signature handmade cards....

Feeling Blue

I have seen a lot of stress, confusion, anger, sadness and tiredness in my life of late. It has been a rollercoaster of emotion but has given me a new persprective on life, the strength to do things I would have never done before and the courage to want to use this new strength to the best of my ability in the future. However, no matter how strong I stay through something there always has to come a time of rest-a rest to take in what I've been through, to listen to my body and to just take the time to be sad for a while. I don't intend to wallow in depression but for now my blue period-no matter how blue-is still food for my inspiration. Much like Picasso.
